We build a more conscious and sustainable world through the manufacture of recycled polyester fiber of European origin.
Our history runs side-by-side that of sustainability
In 1987, the term sustainable was first used in the way we understand it today in the UN’s Brundtland Report (Our Common Future). Since then, sustainability has grown in importance, driving our collective and individual decisions and actions. This context triggered a change that goes beyond the original rule of the three Rs —reduce, reuse, recycle—. The concept from cradle to cradle represents a paradigm shift and it means the following: let’s tackle the issue together and at its root.
The Naeco Group came about in 2001 and it is now the leading company in sustainable solutions based on the recycling of plastics. Initially with the Group, then with Naeco Packaging, Naeco Recycling and now with Naeco Fibers too as Spanish manufacturers, we are actively working to build a more responsible and conscious future, where each resource can have a long journey.

Recycled fiber, a positive legacy
Our company was founded in 2022 with the firm purpose of leading, from Asturias, the path towards a more sustainable and responsible industry. We are the upshot of a joint venture between two major international references: Naeco Group, a leader in sustainable solutions, and MECEN IPC Co., a Korean company with more than 40 years of experience in the production of polyester fibers. This alliance combines innovation, experience and commitment in order to make a difference in the sector.
We are focused on the manufacture of recycled fibers. In this way, we transform rPET waste into new valuable resources, contributing to the circular economy and the advancement of sustainability. We complement our offer with the manufacture of virgin polyester products for specific cases where their use is necessary.
Our purpose is clear: to transform the industry through the production of polyester fibers that not only meet the demands of the present, but which also build a cleaner and more responsible future. Thereby redefining the limits of what is possible in the polyester fiber sector.
Join our mission and build a change you can believe in.
Our production process

Why choose recycled polyester fiber?
For every tonne of recycled polyester that replaces virgin polyester, up to 70% less CO₂ is emitted, according to industry studies. This translates into approximately 2.5 tonnes less carbon dioxide for every tonne of recycled material produced. The use of recycled polyester fiber is thus a step forward in the active fight against climate change. Here at Naeco Fibers we are firmly bound by this commitment, not only a quantitative aspect, but as the opportunity to offer our clients the formula to be leaders in innovation and environmental responsibility too. Together we reduce emissions and move towards a cleaner future.

Talent, commitment, team
Innovation and sustainability are part of our DNA. That’s why, although we are focused on the production of polyester fiber from recycled materials deriving from PET packaging waste, we seek to go further by guaranteeing a future where everything that reaches its end of life comes back to life again.
Naeco Fibers is a network of people united by a common vision: to put their experience and skills at the service of a fairer and more balanced future. Where every effort counts and every member contributes to making our mission a reality. Without a shadow of a doubt, our team is the key to our success.
That’s why we’re committed to people, our best resource, creating a stimulating work environment that helps us, together, achieve each goal.
