You may consult additional and detailed information on data protection in this Cookies’ Policy, in our Legal notice in the Privacy Policy and in the Terms and conditions of this website.

NAECO FIBERS, S.L., as the owner of this website, duly informs you that we use data storage and recovery devices (called cookies) during user browsing of the website.

4.1 What is a cookie?

A cookie is a file (usually small in size) sent by a website that is downloaded and stored on the user’s browser, so that the website can consult the browser’s previous activity; in this way, it is possible to identify the user who visits a website and keep a record of their activity on it. In other words, a cookie is a file containing small amounts of information that is downloaded to your terminal (computer or mobile device) when you visit a site and it allows a website to recognise your device and you as a user.

In this regard, this website uses cookies and/or similar technologies which store and recover information when you browse. Generally speaking, these technologies serve various purposes, such as:

  • To recognise you as a user.
  • To obtain information about your browsing habits.
  • To analyse preferences and other functions to personalise user browsing (personalising the way content is displayed).

The specific uses we make of these technologies have been described below. Here at NAECO FIBERS, S.L. we do not use these technologies to create user profiles that involve automated decision-making with legal effects for the users or which significantly affect them in a similar way.

4.2 What types of cookies are used by this website and for what purpose?

Pursuant to the provisions of the Guide on the use of cookies, published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), they can be subject to a triple classification (depending on the entity that manages them, the time they remain activated and their purpose), without prejudice to the fact that the same cookie may be included under more than one category, depending on the sorting criteria.

A classification of cookies has been provided below based on a number of categories.

  1. In line with the entity that manages, the equipment or domain from where the cookies are sent and which processes the data obtained, we can distinguish between:
  • First-party cookies: These are sent to the user’s terminal from a computer or domain managed by the owner of the website and from which the service is provided to the user.
  • Third-party cookies: These are sent to the user’s terminal from a computer not managed by the owner of the website, but rather by a third-party entity that processes the data obtained through them. Cookies provided from a device or domain belonging to the website owner will also be regarded as such, but the information collected is managed by a third party for its own purposes. If you wish to know further information about third-party privacy policies, you can consult the links to them in the cookies’ table of this section.
  1. In line with the time period they remain activated:
  • Session or temporary cookies: they collect and store information during the user’s access to the website and disappear or are deleted once said access has ended, as they are intended to provide the service requested on a single occasion (e.g.: a list of products purchased), so they are not installed on the user’s terminal. Since their expiry is related with their purpose, they can be considered exempt from the need for consent.
  • Persistent or permanent cookies: they keep the data stored at the user’s terminal and they may be accessed and processed during a defined period (expiry date) by the person responsible for the cookie. They help websites remember user information and settings in order to identify users every time they visit the site (for example, so that they do not have to log in again, language selection, menu preferences etc.).
  1. In line with the purpose for which the data obtained are processed:
  • Technical cookies: They are those which, processed by us or by third parties, allow the user to browse the website, as well as the use of its different functionalities and services (for example: to monitor traffic, identify the session, remember the elements going to make up an order, manage payments, use security elements during browsing, enable the loading of texts or images, etc.). This category also includes those which allow for the effective management of those advertising spaces included as an additional element of the design or layout of the website but which do not collect additional information (for example, to personalise said advertising content or others). This type of cookies is exempt from the obtaining of consent, provided that they are not used for other purposes and so they cannot be disabled.
  • Analytical or measurement (performance) cookies: These are those which, processed by us or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and to carry out the monitoring and statistical analysis of the behaviour of website users (in other words, to establish what they do on the website whilst browsing it). They are intended for the creation of user browsing profiles and/or the measurement of website activity, in order to make improvements to the products or services offered and to detect any errors.
  • Preference or customisation cookies: These are cookies which, processed by us or by third parties, enable us to remember information so that users access the service with some predefined general characteristics, in order to differentiate their experience from that of other users (e.g. language, appearance of the service depending on the type of browser etc.). If it is the actual user who chooses said characteristics, these cookies are also exempt from obtaining the respective consent, provided that they are not used for other purposes.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: These are cookies which, whether processed by us or by third parties, store information about users’ browsing habits, in order to carry out specific advertising based on their interests.

As regards the specific use of cookies by this website, NAECO FIBERS, S.L. hereby informs you that we use first-party or third-party cookies, some of which do not require or are exempt from obtaining the consent of users (to be precise, those that allow the operation and provision of the services offered thereat), as they are excluded from compliance with the obligations set out in article 22.2 of the Law on Information Society Services. Furthermore, this website may also use cookies which will require the notification and consent of users.

It should also be noted that the same cookie may have more than one purpose (multipurpose cookies), so there is a possibility that a cookie is exempt from the need to obtain consent for one or more of its purposes, but not for others. In other words, it may be the case that, for the same cookie, you may be asked for consent for one or more purposes, but not for the remaining purposes – without prejudice to the fact that, for the knowledge of the users, information is provided about all the cookies used at this website and all their purposes, regardless of whether or not your consent is required. In the event that any of the  multipurpose cookies is used for various purposes whose consent must be required for all of them, their use will be sought when the purposes are accepted in their entirety, unless our management system enables us to offer differentiated treatment for each of them, in which case they will only be used for the accepted purposes.

4.2.1 Cookies used by this website.

All the cookies installed and used specifically by https://fibers.naeco.comare listed below. You will be able to find out what they are, their purpose, the entity that manages them (with the possibility of accessing the privacy policies of third parties, in the event that they are managed from outside NAECO FIBERS, S.L.) and accept or reject each of them, provided that consent is required for their installation in accordance with current regulations. The data collected by the cookies in question will be displayed when creating user profiles (for example, in the case of advertising cookies).

Necessary

Necessary cookies are crucial for the basic functions of the website, and the site will not function as intended without them. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

4.3 Can you revoke your consent and delete the cookies?

NAECO FIBERS, S.L. hereby informs you that you have at your disposal various ways to revoke the consent provided for the use of the cookies (except those that do not require the obtaining thereof, in accordance with the provisions of the current legislation).

NAECO FIBERS, S.L. does not make transfers to third countries, but the third parties identified in this Cookies’ Policy may do so. You can find out about transfers to third countries which, where applicable, are carried out by said third parties in their respective policies (with this in mind, you have at your disposal the links provided in the cookies’ table used by this website).

4.5 How long will we keep your data for?

Your personal data may be kept for as long as they are useful for the purposes for which they were collected (stated in this Cookies’ Policy, depending on the purpose of the cookies employed) and, in any case, provided that you have not requested their deletion. We will not keep your data for longer than necessary, always respecting the provisions of current regulations on personal data protection.

In any case, the validity of the consent granted for the use of the cookies will have a maximum duration of 24 months – unless you revoke your consent prior to the end of said period – and, during the time that the selection made is kept, you will not be asked for new consent every time you visit this website.

4.6 Are there any other issues which, as a user, you should be aware of?

NAECO FIBERS, S.L. reserves the right to update this Cookies’ Policy to comply with legal or technical requirements. We would thus recommend you to review this Policy periodically, with a view to being properly informed about the cookies used by this website and its purposes.
